The Plumbing Connection is a free resource for homeowners looking to find plumbers in Los Angeles. We generate revenue by offering paid listing placements to plumbing companies. This advertising revenue allows us to maintain and improve the directory at no cost to consumers.

Free vs. Paid Listings

Our directory includes two types of listings:

• Free listings — The majority of plumbers in our directory are listed for free. Their information is sourced from publicly available records. Free listings appear in our standard directory results.
• Paid listings (Featured Partners) — Some plumbers pay a monthly fee for enhanced visibility. Paid listings may appear with a "Featured Partner" badge, receive priority placement in directory results, and include additional profile features such as enhanced descriptions, prominent call-to-action buttons, and logo display.

How Paid Listings Affect What You See

Paid placement may affect the order and prominence of listings on the Site. Specifically:

• Featured Partner listings may appear above free listings in directory results, area pages, and service category pages.
• Exclusive Sponsor listings may appear as the top result on specific neighborhood or service category pages.
• Featured Partner badges are displayed on paid listings to clearly identify them as paid placements.

What Paid Listings Do NOT Affect

• Verification — All plumbers, whether free or paid, are checked against the same publicly available records. Paying for a listing does not affect or bypass this process.
• Reviews and ratings — Review scores and review counts displayed on the Site are sourced from public third-party platforms (Google, Yelp, Angi, etc.) and are not influenced by listing status.
• Editorial content — Our blog posts, cost guides, and informational content are written independently and are not influenced by advertisers.

Our Commitment to Transparency

We believe homeowners deserve to know when a listing is a paid placement. That's why we clearly label all paid listings with a "Featured Partner" badge and include advertising disclosure language in our site footer. We do not disguise paid placements as organic results.

Your Responsibility

Regardless of whether a plumber is a free or paid listing, you should always independently verify a plumber's licensing, insurance, and qualifications before hiring.
